How long does a treatment last?
Reflexology treatments usually lasts around 45 minutes but can be adapted to suit your needs.

Where will I have the treatment?
Reflexology treatments are performed in a quiet and still room on a massage table, which enable you to relax your whole body, whilst your feet are massaged.
Oils are used enhance effectiveness so please do let you therapist know if you have any allergies to oils. Soothing music is played to ensure you are comfortable & relaxed throughout the treatment.

It is important to wear a comfortable cotton top during the treatment & to remove/switch off mobile phones.

How many treatments will I need?
The benefits of Reflexology are immediate: your feet will feel invigorated & energised, whilst your body and mind are relaxed & peaceful. Your body will continue to re-energise & repair itself up to 48 hours after the treatment, so it is important to listen to your body. Try to make sure you have the time to rest after a treatment & let your body heal itself.
Regular sessions will multiply the beneficial effects of reflexology and you can have treatments as often as you want.

What are the benefits of Reflexology?
Reflexology is a wonderful way to relax and feel pampered, promoting restful sleep and relief from stresses of everyday life. Reflexology can also help with local pain and discomfort in the ankles, feet and calves.

When shouldn't I receive a treatment?
Reflexology is more commonly performed in the feet but where the feet can not be accessed, it may be possible to provide a treatment on the hands.

Reflexology is a very safe and effective therapy used to treat a variety of conditions. However, as with all therapies, it is important to make the therapist of any pre-existing conditions, which may be contra-indicated and for which treatment cannot be provided:

  • Skin infections such as warts; verrucas; athletes foot etc
  • Thrombosis
  • Recent surgery on feet or legs, specifically for varicose veins
  • Intoxication
  • Food Poisoning

Other conditions may require you to consult with your doctor before a treatment can be considered:

  • Low/high blood pressure
  • Epilepsy
  • Cancer
  • Heart Conditions
